Water Damage in Union, Kentucky

A supply line to the ice maker broke and caused extensive water damage in this home located in Union, Kentucky. The laminate flooring in the kitchen and mudroom on the first floor were damaged and the basement below was left with two inches of standing water. The SERVPRO of Boone County water technicians responded quickly to the property to start the restoration process. For the basement area shown in the photos, they needed to extract the standing water. The first photo shows the area before the water extraction and it is easy to see the standing water. The second photo shows the same area after extraction. Drying equipment was also placed and monitored until the property was completely dry.
