Sink Overflow Causes Water Damage in Hebron, Kentucky

Water damage in this home in Hebron, Kentucky was the result when the kitchen sink overflowed. The living room, kitchen and hallway were affected on the main level of the home as well as the basement area below. SERVPRO of Boone County acted quickly to begin the water restoration process. These photos show the living room area before and after the water technicians removed the saturated carpet. The wet flooring underneath the carpeting is evident in the second photo. For this area in the living room, our crews removed and disposed of the wet carpet padding, and lifted the carpet for drying. They set up and monitored multiple air movers and dehumidifiers. When the dry out process was complete, all equipment was removed and the area was ready to be put back together!
