Water Damage to Commercial Property in Walton, Kentucky

When heavy rains hit Walton, Kentucky, a roof leak was the cause of water damage to this commercial property. SERVPRO of Boone County was called to handle the dry out and restoration process. These photos show one of the classrooms that was affected by the water damage. In this room, the water technicians removed the wet insulation in the ceiling as well as in the walls. They also removed the wet drywalls and then all was bagged and disposed of. In order to effectively dry the area, SERVPRO air movers and dehumidifiers were also placed in the room for a period of time until drying was complete.
